US Proposal to Delist Gray Wolves
May 14, 2019Hunting Boot Fitment and Care
May 14, 2019As an outfitter offering world class moose, caribou and mountain goat hunting opportunities in Northern British Columbia, we strive to make your trip a memory that will last a lifetime! We pride ourselves on offering hunting opportunities that are much more than just a “hunt” itself. This is adventure tourism at its finest in some of the most remote country in the world. Our hunts take place over 100 miles from the nearest road, done by fly-in via float plane to our lodge nestled alongside the Stikine River.
Once you arrive at our lodge, you are greeted by staff to help accommodate your gear and make you feel at home. Food is always readily available at the lodge along with amenities such as a hot shower and laundry room to help make your visit comfortable and enjoyable. All hunters will be flown out of the lodge to their own remote location for the hunt to take place. You will be provided a guide and packer to help assist you on your hunt. Along with having a guide and packer, they will be responsible for cooking your meals, assisting in finding you wildlife and making sure your hunt is as comfortable as it can be.
Upon harvesting an animal, the guide and packer will do as much work as possible for you in regard to handling the after-harvest process. We will handle things in a timely manner to make sure your trophy and meat are taken care of properly.
After your hunt has concluded, you will be flown back to our lodge to regroup, share stories, eat a nice meal and prepare for your departure back to civilization.
One thing that we hear way to often from prospective hunters, “what is your best deal?” Or, “Can you give me a discount on this hunt?”
While we would love to provide everyone with discounts, our pricing is set to accommodate for all of the expenses that are incurred for the hunt to take place, furthermore we need to be able to keep the lights on as well and feed our families to be able to offer you these opportunities in the future. While we understand these hunts are expensive and not everyone can afford to partake in this type of adventure, we do our best to keep pricing competitive to allow as many opportunities as we can.
Things to consider within our pricing for the costs being where they are…
- We have airplanes we had to purchase and have to maintain. Fuel, especially in the north country is not cheap.
- Land leases to be able to offer pristine hunting grounds for our clients.
- Guides and camp staff that help make your trip enjoyable.
- Tag fees.
While these are just a few of the things that we have to pay for, for every hunter that passes through our camp each year, it adds up quick. We can truly appreciate people wanting to barter, but we need to make a living as well.
We hope this will give you some insight on our operation and we look forward to discussing your next hunt with us!
